This year I wanted to do a few new things at our annual 4th of July party. I had seen these mini pinatas on pinterest. They are now pinned to my celebrations board.

My mom was here this weekend so I put her to work. She did a great job with her little assembly line. We sort of winged it. The tutorial I peeped at before making these is here

We used a hot glue gun instead of regular glue. I already had streamers so we used that instead of tissue paper. I have a martha stewart clipper that does a tripple cut. Pretty handy when trying to fray things.

I plan to stuff these with cute things like temporary tats with american flags. Maybe some little candies. I wonder who will get the lucky dollar.

The first 15 guests get to pick and pull one.

Cheers to your celebrations!
